The existing site was difficult to navigate and extensive with too many pages. Use of IA and some UX design slimmed the site down and consolidated the main navigation.
The design brief was quite open with Pedigree only stimulating the use of the corporate yellow. The existing site used the yellow as block colour which made the site heavy looking aswell as unappealing, a gradient from yellow to white solved this problem. It allowed content lower down to be easily read and the design to breath. Large friendly images of the dogs gave the site and the dogs personality and brought content to life. View website
